Romeo's First Ally

Before he met any of the mentioned animals in the Grimm Brothers' fairy tale, Romeo first met Bonjo, a warrior grizzly bear looking to prove his power to anyone passing through his territory.  Unfortunately, Romeo was never known for his strength and instantly fled by horse in terror upon coming into contact with the bear.  Bonjo instantly chased after him calling him names as he smashed through anything in his path.  But Romeo was as sneaky as ever because he wanted Bonjo to follow him.  Earlier, Romeo had set up a trap near the side of the road for emergency purposes and by the time he had got there, he tricked Bonjo into falling into the pit.  It was so deep that Bonjo could not climb out of it.  Romeo agreed to let him out on one condition: the two of them would become friends.  Romeo knew that the bear’s power could be a useful ally in the future if he ever needed it.  Eventually, Bonjo agreed to the terms and became friends with Romeo.
