The Untold Lawsuits

So before the actual marriage, Romeo was accused of two murders.  The first one came from the duck’s family (the one who ate the Queen’s ring).  Amazingly, the Grimm Brothers actually gave the actual account of what happened between the ducks and Romeo in their fairy tale.  The duck’s family lawyer, who was also a duck, argued that there were other methods to get the ring without killing his fellow brethren.  Details about the case were kept classified, but I did learn that Romeo had held a large banquet for the Royal Family a couple of days after the court hearing began.  I believe the main course was duck.  No one ever heard what the verdict was.
The second one involved Marybell, the horse whom Romeo convinced the  three starving Raven members to kill instead of him (refer to Romeo’s Fourth “Ally” if you didn’t read that page yet).  Marybell’s parents tried to argue her case by themselves, but horses are known for power, not for their debating skills.  They lost the case miserably.  Romeo then counter sued and bribed the judge to rule in his favor.  In the end, Romeo won the case and the judgement was so high that the only way the horses could pay it off was by pulling the Royal Carriage for the rest of their lives.
