Romeo's Fourth "Ally"

You may think that the "Ravens" the Grimm Brothers wrote about are just black birds but in reality, they’re a biker gang that resided in the North Eastern sector of the Kingdom.  It was true they helped out Romeo, but not in the way you think.  Let’s start at the beginning.  After Romeo left his servant position to go on his exploration, he bumped into three Raven members sitting on the side of the road.  They were starving and when they saw him come down the road, they instantly attacked Romeo and his horse.  Seeing that Romeo was not carrying any food on him, the Ravens turned to what they considered the next best thing, human flesh on a stick.  Just before they could hack Romeo to pieces with their Talon pocket knives, Romeo told them to eat his horse, Marybell, whom they had already tied down to a nearby tree.  At first they criticized him for selling out his partner, but Romeo made a convincing argument.  Within moments, they killed his horse and sliced her up into large slabs for roasting.  They then untied Romeo and after some friendly exchanges, Romeo parted ways.

Wanting to return the favor, the three Ravens, one of them being the leader, convinced the rest of their gang to help Romeo when they heard about his search for the “Golden Apple” (a code name for a new missile design developed by a rivaling Kingdom).  Moreover, there was a rumor that their arch nemesis, the Vultures, were heading there.  I learned that the two groups hated each other because both sides claimed that the other gang stole the concept for their logo design.   Anyway, you are probably wondering why does the fair princess want a missile blueprint in order for Romeo to prove his love to her?  Well, she didn’t want it, but the King’s advisers did and she was hoping that Romeo would die in the process.  So Romeo left for the hidden testing base to retrieve the “Golden Apple.”  What he didn’t know was that the Vultures had already raided the base and stole the design.  The leader kept the design on a CD which he placed in his leather jacket.  Their plan was to go back to Aprok and sell it on the Black Market to the highest bidder.  However, when they made it to the border, they were ambushed by the Ravens and an all out brawl broke out.  In the end, the Ravens pulled out victorious and the leader, as well as the last of his followers, grabbed the data disk from the Vulture's leader.

Just then, Romeo had appeared to cross the border himself when he saw the carnage from the earlier brawl.  After the Raven leader told Romeo what had happened, he handed Romeo the disk saying that they were now even.  But Romeo did not think that.  He never forgot the fear they had engraved into his mind and felt the only way he would ever be satisfied with the Ravens was when they were all dead.  In that instant, Romeo pulled out a small machine gun and open fires on the last of the gang members.  Only the leader managed to escape with some wounds and he instantly went into hiding.  I eventually learned that after I was thrown into prison, a member of Romeo’s assassination squad was able to find him and cut his throat.  On the documentation, the leader of the Ravens was accused of starting a rebellion group against King Romeo.
